Sulfur-Lone Pair Interactions

We carry out computations aimed at understanding the origins of apparently attractive interactions between sulfur atoms and oxygen or nitrogen lone pairs. We have examined cases of relevance to medicinal chemistry, organocatalysis and natural products chemistry.
